Have you EVER seen anything OVERTURNED? If we did have liberty loving congress people in office AND if they ‘invited’ the best and the brightest from the PRIVATE sector, those who don’t have an agenda, then yes, possibly it could be scaled back/overturned. Do you see that as a possibility? Really?

Mostly true. However the bankrupting welfare entitlement was revoked with the signature of a Democrat president.
Also, the “goodies” in the health bill don't really begin to arrive until 2014, so there is time for repeal of the worst parts before the public gets hooked. Repeal wouldn't be felt in the pocketbook because it wouldn't be there yet. Also this bill has a mandate requiring purchase of plans that will be far more expensive that people have been led to believe. Michael Moore and the “Obama’s Stash” crowd have been led to believe healthcare would be “free” as it supposedly is in the UK or Cuba (Ha!).

In major bills, no, with the exception of prohibition.
BUT, consider this. This Bill only passed by a vote of 5 in the congress. In the Senate they barley will have 60 in a senate where they could get much more and hardly any of these votes were republican.
The country is FIRMLY against health care at this point and when the reality of the damage it has caused is evident they will be stampeding their congressional offices.
Even the leftists have bitten off more than they can chew and hard core socialists like Olberman Matthews and “Ed” are calling for it to be killed.
I actually saw Olberman demand it go away for a correct reason - that it forces americans to do something that they may not want to do. The mandate.
So the left and zombies may not be any more happy with this than us in the end. It may even get people off their duffs from watching dancing with the stars and make a call to congress or *gasp* vote in 2010 - 2012.
What I have seen a lot of is “non- funding”. They may not overturn a bill, but when it comes to budgeting for it yearly, they simply don’t. They either vote to withhold the money to run the program or let it die in congress. That happens frequently and will probably end up being the legacy of this bill.
Obama Pelosi and Reid has vastly overreached their powers, the American people have become irate and believe that their popularity is waining day by day.

Am I concerned? YES - VERY
Am I unhappy with this? YES
But I can not see these people having much power after this either. I think that they have created a vacuum where they have spent every political dime to pass this and over spent their clout. I think they have now become virtual lame ducks living in a glass bowl.
We shall see.
