The tea parties have a postive purpose, even if the ******** in Washington dont take notice of them.

They are opportunities for patriots to mobilize, meet in large numbers and see that other (real, not virtual) people feel the same way they do.

They have been peaceful protests thusfar, but I, like you, am getting impatient for the first shot to be fired.

Don't think they don't notice.

They always pretend not too notice in order to try to demoralize us but they really do notice. Also, every time Pelosi et al slander Tea Party folks, it is a gift that drives more people to the cause.

That being said, there are some things that need to be done IMO. First of all, the Tea Party movement needs a theme and a symbol that everyone can unite around. It must be a demand that is concrete and focused enough to represent the fundamental change that is needed and needs to harken back to the constitution, liberty and the principles that the founding fathers laid out.

As Conservatives we have generally done a damn poor job of educating people and articulating our views and that needs to change. Most of all, we could sure use a dynamic, articulate and visionary spokesman and leader.

Who will that be??
