Persians are interesting people. The ones I’ve met who have become American citizens seem to be good folks, as well as intelligent and hard-working. Just like the people from Vietnam, Cambodia, the ex-USSR, etc. who I’ve met. They busted their asses to get to freedom, and now they are seeing it flushed away again. The sad thing is that these people can give first-hand testimony that what’s happening right now in the US is virtually the same thing that happened in their countries during the communist takeover, and most people just roll their eyes at it.
