I've lost count of the number of times I've heard someone spout off with something beginning with, "If I had a terminal disease..." and continue with a statement involving these politicians, their spouses, children, grandchildren, and anyone else they can get to, but of course it's just talk.
You're right. Wake me when someone actually does something that instills real fear into those creatures.
