Shane Sparks, judge on MTV's 'America's Best Dance Crew,' Arrested On Suspicion of Child Molestation
December 18, 2009
Shane Sparks, a judge on MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew," was arrested this morning on suspicion of felony child molestation, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Sparks was taken into custody at his North Hollywood home at 8 a.m., said Officer Gregory Baek. He is being held in lieu of $590,000 bail.
Authorities released few details but said the alleged crime occurred in the 1990s and that authorities only recently learned about it. More details are expected to be released later today. The Los Angeles district attorneys office filed an eight-count felony complaint today against Sparks, alleging multiple lewd acts upon a child, starting in 1994. It identified the victim as a girl who was younger than 14 years old when the incidents began.]

They are getting braver, huh? Always an increase at Christmas time when the lowlife need money. Lock up and keep safe.
I was sure that dude was gay.
Everyone else on the thread seems to have CONVICTED him on a charge, based on crimes allegedly committed OVER A DECADE AGO!!
Wow, how do they prove it? Why so late in filing? Why now?
Seriously, it’s disturbing that so many FReepers jump the gun (rest assured that planting child porn on computers will be how they dispose of future dissidents!) on this kind of thing and either don’t read or don’t care to read up on the circumstances.
He may be guilty but EVEN IF SO, they need to PROVE it in court and there should be more than an allegation that a man did something like this. Especially so longer after the fact.
Putting aside the pederastic exploitation of children, I tried to tell some people on a thread recently that, whatever our opposition to identity politics (gay or otherwise,) that we should not pretend that homosexual practice was not fairly widespread in the ancient world AND that this did not signal the decadent end of their civilizations. It simply was.
I read half of that the other day and it is horrifying to read. I’ve never been a big history buff and guess I think back to the ‘nicer’ days when I was growing up.
Turns out it may have been the very best time to ‘grow up’. I really didn’t know how they treated children in ‘olden’ times.
