Yes, starting in late afternoon or early evening. AccuWeather.com (see link below) says right now the snow will start in NE Connecticut at about 8pm, but the (excellent) weather guy on WTIC 1080 AM said a few minutes ago that this storm could slow down or speed up, so it's tough to predict the exact time when the snow will start. CT is expected to get about 6 inches from this storm.
AccuWeather.com forecast for NE CT
If you get a "page load error" at the link above, keep trying. I think AccuWeather.com is overwhelmed today. It's a very good site that will give you the hour by hour weather forecast for just about any area. We use it all the time and it's mostly dead on accurate.
AccuWeather is also projecting ANOTHER storm in the DC area for next Thursday...I can’t see the Senate hanging around thru two storms in the space of a week; especially when they want to go home for the holidays.
Thank you..that is a wonderful website-I put it on my desktop.
I had mentioned to another poster that early this morning when I was listening to the weather, they had said either nothing or a foot...so I was hoping some things had been updated.
I usually check a local TV station on the web and it’s not very good and the NOAA site isn’t much help because we’re on ‘the line’-we get northern type weather but also get coastal stuff.
And I get one radio station at work out of Worcester....so thanks for your help. Sounds like one of those ‘watch and see’ type of storms for us in CT.
I think it qualifies for a ‘bread and milk’ run!
