People in Nebraska and Arkansas — indeed all states — keep calling — both DC 202-224-3121 as well as district offices — it is that close
Thank you...Good website-I’m in Thompson-when I listened to the weather early this a.m., they said either nothing or a foot!
Thought I heard it wrong..
The latest models show a truly historic storm....amazing. Easily 20 inches in spots if it verifies perfectly.
Thank you..that is a wonderful website-I put it on my desktop.
I had mentioned to another poster that early this morning when I was listening to the weather, they had said either nothing or a foot...so I was hoping some things had been updated.
I usually check a local TV station on the web and it’s not very good and the NOAA site isn’t much help because we’re on ‘the line’-we get northern type weather but also get coastal stuff.
And I get one radio station at work out of Worcester....so thanks for your help. Sounds like one of those ‘watch and see’ type of storms for us in CT.
I think it qualifies for a ‘bread and milk’ run!

I've got food, booze, firewood and videos. Was there anything else?
What kind of videos?
Short advertisement at the beginning to mute
Why do you say that?
It’s time to stock up on Beer.....for me anyway.
24, Buffy, Harry Potter, Jeeves and Wooster, BlackAdder, just all sorts of things. I do need to pick up some chestnuts to roast over the open fire I’ll be lighting, because I have the special chestnut-roasting pan too.
I had to run to Walmart and the grocery store today. Oh My.... it’s the weekend, it’s the Friday before Christmas, and they’re calling for the S word in Maryland. Talk about your “perfect storms”! lol
Maybe you do see more snow, but no one can drive on ice. That is why I chuckle when I see stories from MN, NY and other states that get snow and see tons of cars in ditches and crashes on highways. Northerners can’t drive in the snow or ice, either. They pretend they can, but evidence suggests otherwise.
I stayed at the Boardwalk in 1996, just in time for the blizzard of the century.
Didn’t bother me, I love winter cold.
Also learned the other name for Rehobeth while I was there.
Coffee?
Paging ALGORE to the white phone, paging AlGore ... to the white phone, please.
It's the only website I use for weather. I pay the ten bucks a year for no ads and other special features.
Thompson? You really are up in the corner. :)
UPDATE: 2feet!!!!
A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 AM EST SUNDAY.
