Unless some deadbeat drug addict sells it as scrap metal to a scrap dealer. I don’t know if they have a big problem with that in Europe, but in the US it would have a big chance of getting melted down as scrap. The dealers don’t ask any questions, and since they couldn’t sell it on eBay without the police coming to arrest them, they’d figure they might as well melt it down and get $10 out of it.

I don’t think that they will melt it down.Its going to end up in someone’s private collection.

If I’m not mistaken, this was not the original sign, but a replica put up by the Polish government back in the 60’s or 70’s.
