Republican lawmakers said on Thursday they would try to block a Environmental Protection Agency proposal that opens the door to federal regulation of planet-warming gases.

Last week, the EPA issued a ruling that greenhouse gas emissions endanger human health, clearing the way for the agency to regulate carbon without congressional legislation.

Senator Lisa Murkowski, the top Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, is leading an effort in the chamber to overturn the finding through a rarely used joint resolution of disapproval.

Getting the proposal passed will be a heavy lift, since Republicans are a minority in both the House and Senate. The resolution requires the approval of both chambers and President Barack Obama.

Note: I must hit the rack. Work comes early. But I must unload a thought often repeated and at the key to this whole sored affair regarding so called AGW.
The false assumptions based on a original idea dated back to about 1845 that the earth's atmosphere can be in some way studied in a closed loop system such as a little greenhouse is simply ludicrous.
Then this very simple but lacking any real mathematical solutions feed by real world data measurements, was again brought to light some twenty years later then repeated a few times later on.
Can any physicist, chemist, other, that make a living to carefully examine how the earth's atmosphere really works in it's varied ways along with just basic known knowledge regarding how CO2 molecules behave in general, think for a minute there is any truth to any form of greenhouse effect?
It is high time growing numbers of honest and concerned scientist, engineers, chemist, geologist, etc., come forth and start to educated their State and US Congress reps on both sides of the hill.
For ultimately, at least in the USA, if both sides of Congress say no. We can stem the tied of virtual rape to our wallets and our standard of living as well as those of our lovely children in the future.
It is in the power of those universities and government as well as some industrial complex willing and not directly in line to make huge profits to come forth and stop this horrid display of world control while there is still time to do it.
Step forth those in positions to stop this outrage. You will ultimately lose in the end along with the rest of us if you do not take a stand.

The EPA has declared that CO2 has been determined to be so hazardous to people’s health, that an emergency regulation will go into effect starting 12-18-09 until further notice. Science has proven that CO2 causes massive global warming which must stop now in order to save the planet. Since all humans exhale CO2 which is greatly contributing to the problem, this emergency regulation is absolutely necessary to preserve life as we know it.

Therefore, all males are henceforth ordered not to exhale on even numbered days of the month, and all females are henceforth ordered not to exhale on odd numbered days of the month. We know that this will be a difficult change in everyone’s daily habits, but we sincerely hope that we have acted in time to save Planet Earth.

Remember, no sacrifice is too great in order to save the planet and this is such a small inconvenience to anyone that full co-operation will be expected. Penalty for non-compliance will be execution and forfeiture of the entire decedent’s estate.

Due to the complexity of managing this problem and dealing with the ongoing world economic crisis as well as the burdens of government, certain goverment leaders, officials and selected others will be exempt from this regulation.

Who elected the EPA?

EPA, FEC,FCC, FDA, NASA, HUD,HHS, dept of education, dept of energy, the government schools, and almost every one of the thousands of government agencies must be abolished.

Government idiots steal $11,000.00 dollars per year from the job creators to “educate” a government school student. Many entrepreneurs can start a small business for $11,000. that is just more money wasted by government.

Government agencies have given hundreds of billions of dollars in government grants to fund ridiculous fraudulent nonprofit organizations, and ridiculous research to perpetuate lies like global warming , 3 million to study surgery in outer space etc. etc. All of this while 17% of Americans are unemployed.

Only for profit private business are accountable , accountable to customers, accountable to the bottom line, accountable to efficiency , and accountable to reality.

A product has to work so it has to rely on real science and has to have high quality and has to be produced efficiently. Only private for profit companies can do this. Government doesn't even deal in real science as the global warming hoax shows. So government can never produce quality products efficiently.
