Boycott Ohio Michael
Typical leftist idiocy. There's no procedure on the books in Connecticut to recall a US Senator, but that doesn't seem to bother Moore. And what boycott power could Moore and gang possible exercise against the people and industry of CT, even if he wanted to do so?
Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT): "... 45,000 people die every year because they don't have health care."
Hey, Rosie, where did you dream up that number? Not having health insurance does not equate to not having health care (nor does having health insurance equate to having (adequate) health care). But Dummies aren't bashful about concocting alleged facts and figures out of thin air. Their powers of logic have all too frequently atrophied.
CT Secretary of State Susan Bysewicz:"I think Mr. Lieberman has been a lightning rod and I'm very disappointed he's blocking it."
Eat your heart out, Susie. I bet you're pounding your fist on your desk in frustration, knowing that you can't organize and supervise a rigged recall election for Lieberman. Even your own office said you can't do it.
One can only hope.
Oh, we/re s hurt...........NOT!!
So, the fat loser won’t come here just makes Connecticut all the more pleasant.
Make sure our Sec of States are the on the conservative sides with George Soros making deals with them.
Please add Colorado to Moore’s boycott list. We’re taking up a collection right now, if that would help.
Connecticut is the Hedge Fund capital of the world. The people who have the most money invested in health care stocks. There is no question in my mind who is deciding this vote.
In any event, the Democrats screwed him, and got their comeuppance. Is he not entitled to rub their nose in it? That’s politics. These guys can squeal but they are the same people who got Ned Lamond to beat Leiberman in the primaries. They lost. They have to face the consequences of their decisions, too.
Finally I will say this - how can anyone complain that 45,000 people die because of lack of medical care, when the bill itself won’t even kick in for another 6 years! Oh and one other thing.. this bill won’t help anyone, anyway. It is pure pork. All this bickering is pure politics.
