That's how I expect it to work. As long as they pass some kind of bill with a lot of words in it. Future politicians can "refine" it and future judges can can find penumbras to justify complete socialized medicine and eventually compete socialized government.

Not exactly. Whatever they pass goes to conference where the House bill and Senate bill are put together into 1 bill. The bill that comes out of conference goes back to the House and back to the Senate where a simple majority passes the bill and it then goes to the Pres.
In conference all the things that are holding it up are going to be put back in. They won't need 60 votes in the Senate only 50, Biden can break a tie.
The real question is Nelson the only Rat that's told Reid he can't vote for it? If not he's the guy who is consolidating his "heroic" position while the others are keeping cover from the radical left of their party.
