It is by a combination of both incompetence and design--the general international news blackout you have to suffer back there in the USA. It has all the markings of the Soviet Union handling news from the West way back when, and how lovers of freedom still got word over The Wall and the barbed wire, ditches and German shepard patrols regardless, to the people in the Bloc.

Thank goodness for the internet. We can just go around the woefully corrupt and inept US MSM. What is shocking is the milllions of Americans who cannot or will not, though.
