You know, if these “scientists” worked for any securities company for other financial institution, the very least that would happen to them is that they would be fired and never be allowed to work in the industry again.
They would also run the risk of serious criminal penalties and would face long prison terms.

I'm not sure they don't given the rise of the carbon trading scam. There's certainly incentive to push them in a direction that the grant givers would like to see.

I have an idea that the government will like. How about large government grants to the scientists at CRU, NOAA, and NASA GISS, so they can look into these allegations?
