Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is on life support after falling out of the back of a pickup truck in North Carolina, a source has told FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez. The source described the situation as "dire."
Henry was found in the road in south Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Henry was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, the local trauma unit, but spokesman Scott White said he was not listed in hospital records and had no other information.

This is a strange story.
As soon as I read about him falling out of a pickup, I immediately thought of a bunch of friends riding around and one accidentally falling out.
Reading a little farther and it sounds weird.
Too bad about Henry - seems he was turning his life around and Palmer was a BIG supporter of his - personally and professionally. Carson said Henry was even better than Moss - doesn't look good for Henry, though.

Bengals WR Henry dies
Bengals WR Chris Henry died Thursday morning of injuries he suffered falling from a pickup truck in a domestic incident on Wednesday, Charlotte, N.C. police said.
According to police, Henry and his fiancée were involved in a “domestic situation” at a residence Wednesday morning. His fiancée got in a pickup truck and drove away, police said, but Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck, where the domestic situation continued. Henry eventually came out of the pickup truck as his fiancée was driving, police said. When police arrived, they found Henry in the road.
According to The Associated Press, Henry is engaged to Loleini Tonga, and the couple has been raising three children.
According to Charlotte police, detectives from the homicide and H.I.T.S. units are investigating the incident.

man what a shame..
I wonder if she will be charged with involuntary manslaughter. One report I heard said she was swerving all over to get him out of truck. She can always say he was threatening her I suppose..
