New York Senator Chuck Schumer was reportedly waiting to take off on a flight from D.C. to New York Sunday when a flight attendant told him to turn his phone off.
According to the Republican aide who was apparently sitting nearby and told the story to Politico, both Schumer and his seatmate fellow New York Democratic senator Kirsten Gillibrand kept talking on their phones regardless.
Then the flight attendant came by again and told Schumer that everyone on the flight was waiting for him to turn off his phone. He asked to finish his conversation but was told he could not; he then hung up and, according to the GOP aide, argued about the rule banning him from speaking on the phone.
When the flight attendant walked away, the aide told Politico, Schumer turned to Gillibrand and referred to the woman as a "bitch."
Schumer spokesman Brian Fallon seems to be confirming the story; he told Politico that Schumer "made an off-the-cuff comment under his breath that he shouldn't have made, and he regrets it."
Perhaps the best detail of the story? The aide claims the phone rang again after Schumer finally hung up.
"It's Harry Reid calling," he said, according to the aide. "I guess health care will have to wait until we land."
Good, maybe he’ll introduce legislation that will allow us to use all electronic devices at all times on the flight! Interfering with navigation is a false and flimsy excuse if I understand my pilot friend correctly.
In a 1995 interview with Kathleen Gingrich, mother of Republican politician Newt Gingrich, on Eye to Eye, Ms. Gingrich said she could not say what her son thought about First Lady Hillary Clinton on the air. Chung asked Ms. Gingrich to just whisper it to me, just between you and me, and Ms. Gingrich replied that her son thought of Clinton as a bitch. Many people interpreted Chungs suggestion that if Ms. Gingrich would whisper this statement it would be promised that the statement would be off the record. Bill Carter for the New York Times reported, "Ms. Chung had become the object of some of the most ferocious criticism, justified or not, ever directed at any network anchor as a result of her now infamous interview with Speaker Newt Gingrich's mother, Kathleen."

Schumer "Regrets" Slur of Flight Attendant Why thank you for regretting your slur, senator. Would you like a fresh snack that I made especially for YOU? |
It is really considered news that Chuck Schumer called a stewardess a bitch?

Stories like this deflect attention away from what Schmucky and his gang of thieves are really trying to do.
The airline ought to “lose” his bags every time he flys from now on. Ooops, sorry senator, we just can’t find your luggage. It appears to be in East Timor.
arrogant prick...

At least they actually focussed on a Democrat instead of a Republican.
Yet another addition to the already abundant evidence that the Demonrat Party is the party of the “common people”.
Schumer has always been, and will always be, a classless, self-aggrandizing socialist a$$ clown.
Chuck “I Never Saw a TV Camera I Didn’t Love” Schumer.
Some people can call a woman b****, a Black n****, or a homosexual f**; yet, women, Blacks, and gays would still vote for them.
I don’t know about the FORMER junior senator, but the CURRENT junior senator, a female so filled with integrity and decency that the angels sing with joy from it.
For Kristin Jillebrand, forgive my spelling, says that Chuckie was very “polite” and handled the situation quite calmly.
So honest and decent that she must sleep with the innocence of a newborn babe protecting the fine, fine Schumer like that. And heh, well Jillebrand goes under the bus.
May the fleas of a million camels infect her armpits.
At least the SOB flies commercial....
Here’s an EXCELLENT blow by blow of what transpired:

It looks like the Flight Attendant was just trying to do her job, but I guess “rules” are only for the little people./s
And the folks in NY will continue to elect this a$$hole....
Upon which the flight attendant turned to her co-worker and muttered: "What a Schumck"
“rules do not apply to Dim Congress critters” - there fixed it....
Another BIG D “macaca moment” missed by the slobbering media. If and R made this comment, well, his resignation would be immediate demanded. Second one in a week - Dingy Harry’s ‘slavery’ slip....
“Do you know who I am!?”
I also see Gillibrand went right over to the dark side in full force.
“Moderate Dem” my a**!
What a putz
