A Georgia couple who arrived early for a WH tour was somehow directed toward a veterans' breakfast with Hussein, Mo, and the Bidens. Whew, it's a good thing WH Social Secretary Desiree Rogers always sets up extra chairs and tables for gate crashers.

It sounds like they were seated, fed, and shook hands with The Big O & Co. however, they were disappointed the WH didn’t send them pictures.

The Dardens approached an aide who was mingling with guests. "I told him, 'I don't think this is part of the White House tour,'" Darden said. "He said, 'No it's not. It's an invitation event for veterans.'"
The official, whose name and title Darden didn't remember, asked whether Darden was a veteran. Darden told him he was a Navy veteran, and the aide suggested he stay, Darden said.
It sounds like a CYA moment for an aide or two that at the same time was a nice moment for a veteran.
