She may not be the Person of the Year, but Time considered her influence significant enough to put her on the list of PEOPLE WHO MATTERED in 2009.

Reading Amys’s sweet fawning explanation, Palin is turning the political world upside down and hence one of the “People Who Really Mattered” because she quit as Governor and charges for photos taken with her.
