The welfare checks come on the 1st of the month, so the eco-environmental terrorist & wackos had 2 weeks on their hands, and Hey, lets go protest & riot & create mayhem. They don't believe in Christmas or the Christian holidays, so it's not as if Christmas is going to hinder them.
