When I was in college (many, many moons ago...about 35 years ago to be exact) I took a trip to the Holy Land. We landed in Jordan and then after a few days went to Israel. The security was unbelievable as we passed the border. They took things apart (i.e. hair dryers, cassette recorders, etc.) and handed them back to you in pieces. It was all part of security measures at the time. Shooting the laptop seems a little extreme though.
They must’ve suspected vaporware.
