I trained Cadets at West Point one summer on demolitions. They were good men. Had a couple of West Pointer's for platoon leaders too. You can certainly tell the difference from them and the Rotcies or the 90 day wonders.
My brother, an Army private three times, rose to command a battalion on the Cambodian border before retiring as an Airborne Infantry Lt-Col.
He was one hell of a good man.
