Women shouldnt be in combat to start with. In these wars, one doesn't have to be in a combat position to be in danger. Pretty much everyone associated with a military base is on the front line when the mortars and rockets are coming in or when traveling off-base.

I realize that. Women are competent for most support roles but mixing men and women adds a lot of problems.

In reality, there are no more front or rear lines.
Today's 21st century warfare is a 360 degree non-linear battlefield. Survival depends on having a pistol, rifle and some ammo.
