Exactly the opposite. I think the preliminary results from the investigation have caused them to scrub the BS from the site. I think the real scientists find it highly embarrassing. Remember, Phil Jones has been suspended.

Why don't they be honest about it and say we no longer support this crappy data.

Then we can at least applaud them for that.

Instead they act like sneaks by blaming web traffic.

I think you’re right, but scrubbing the sham data is insufficient for scientific integrity. Papers may need to be retracted, and the practice of refusing to give data to anyone who asks, credentialed scientist or not, has to stop.
