I'm sorry. I should have been a bit more clear. I mostly go from what our Swift Boat honorable hero's had to say over a period of time.
I was referring to when Hanoi John threw a hand grenade into a storage bin of rice, perhaps trying to be cute, then later as he received a shrapnel wound from it on the foot or leg ended up getting a purple heart. Please correct me if I am ill informed on that particular incident.
