WASHINGTON Senators negotiating a bipartisan climate change bill on Thursday unveiled the broad outlines of their plan to combine greenhouse gas limits with expanded offshore drilling, more nuclear power and protections for refiners in a bid to attract support from wary lawmakers.
Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., announced their proposal as international leaders at a summit in Copenhagen were trying to devise a plan to combat global warming.
President Barack Obama is set to attend the Copenhagen meeting next week.
Graham said the group did this just for Copenhagen
to give the president guidance on what he could say about progress in the Senate on the issue.

Uber RINO Lindsey Ping

Want on or off this ping list?
Just FReepmail me.
Mind if I steal that graphic for the ping list? It’s VERY appropriate!
Pandsey as POTUS material? I have more faith in God than that.
And our own Suzie Collins has a bill with Sen Cantwell. From her Dec 11 newsletter:
“With the focus this week on the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said it is an opportune time for her to announce she is co-sponsoring a Senate carbon reduction bill that she sees as innovative and beneficial to all of New England.”
Hey Suzie - your bill is based on a fraud.
I don’t mind, so long as you serve the image up from your own server.
My monthly bandwidth is very limited.
I agree that political cross-dresser Graham is anything but presidential material; however, I'd bet a small bundle that he intends to run.
He is using the exact, carbon-copy game plan as his "maverick" buddy...trying to play both sides (and hoping for some heavy petting from NYT and the Daily Worker are likely ancillary goals).
John Sidney McCain proved to be a most-willing sell-out in order to weasel our nomination (and it got him nothing).
Now his chum, political cross-dresser Lindsey is doing the same triangulation.
Only this time...
...forewarned is forearmed (figuratively, of course).
.
The trillion-dollar question. If we follow the money, we'll have all the tools we need.
Ab-surd. Now, he might like a presidential appointment. But there's no juice in Lindsey Graham for a run for the WH.
Not so. He had a big war chest and the SC GOP had to cave. A nobody, no-name, no-money candidate got 30% of the vote in the SC GOP primary. 30% of Republicans came out to vote against Lindsey. That may not sound like a lot, but considering the lack of organization for his opponent, I think that's impressive.
That I will do. Thank you.
Had to shrink it down for the ping list:

I agree w the notion that political cross-dresser Graham has insufficient "juice" re a wh run.
My suspicion, however, is that he IS planning such a run; and, that he's using the John Sidney McCain template of undermining conservative principles just enough to curry liberal press favor.
Nobody would be happier than moi to be wrong here.
