Actually I found that article to be a bit excuse making and accepting of the left’s premise. For example she fails to note that McCain won a majority of white women. And I believe I heard the other day the Dims have not won a majority of white women in a long time.

This information was obscured under the CNN headline, "Male, rural, suburban votes boost McDonnell."
I think you may have missed the point of the article.
