That’s the reason that I dropped my AAAS membership after 30+ years.

Science and Nature have both jumped the shark.

Academia and the science field, especially the publications have a pretty sweet deal going.

As the Leftist professors slowly took over the tenured positions in the universities they were able to effectively screen out conservatives from tenure. They also, through grants and further influence, have those professors and their cronies do their expected publishing of academic work through friendly Leftist publications for peer review. With such an incestuous arrangement it is easy to propagate false science.

I, like you, noticed it in articles in Science and Nature> not so much what the articles said, although that too, but more in what they decided to publish and not publish.
