U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards has secured several million dollars in federal funding for local projects, including $12.2 million for a new headquarters building for an Army brigade based in Bryan, his office announced this week. ...... The House passed the 2010 appropriations bill 221-202 Thursday, receiving no support from Republicans. A Senate vote is expected over the weekend. Edwards' office said it is expected to pass.....These are "projects that come from local leaders, mayors and sheriffs and research universities in our district," said Josh Taylor, an Edwards spokesman. "As such, these are investments that have a positive impact on the local economy and the daily lives of families and individuals in our district."

Let Chettie pay for it . . . then we’ll see how dedicated he is to the project
Yep,
Old Cheat Edwards has got to go.
I send that bastard letter after letter pointing out his errors. He responds with form letters. At a recent local meeting with voters, he said if we don’t like what he dos we can vote him out.
To quote Sarah, “you betcha”!
I despise all democrats, never has one been worthy of a vote.
period, paragraph.........
It’s a pity he’s representing a military base; hopefully he’ll get retired next November if the local GOP gets their act together!
He's a Democrat.
Nothing else matters for if they weren't big government, freedom taking liberals they wouldn't be democrats.
The day's of Zell Miller and the like are long gone.
BTTT!
Yeah, but we have to wash and rinse our money through the slime pit of Washington DC to get it to your district. A study from earlier today showed the legions of federal "workers" are making twice as much money as their private sector counterparts when you factor in all the benefits and retirement goodies. So, overall, this scumbag's attitude is destructive to liberty and freedom.
