The History Channel’s ‘Day in History” often has a Leftist slant to their ‘versions’ of history. Too bad they never acknowledge any of my attempts to correct them-!! Maybe we should look into providing a ‘day in history’ service ourselves-! I’m sure I’m not the only history buff on freerepublic....

Ok, I'm an idiot who used, used to enjoy the History Channel. I fugured it must be well researched. Then one day I watched an episode about Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs. I knew, 1st hand, what they were claiming was bull. It was common knowledge in the M.C. world what the truth was. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people knew the truth, so this would have been easily verified. This was simply lazy and sloppy journalism. It forced me to take the HistChan with a grain of salt and now question all of their work. It was their reputation that they squandered.
And yet here I am, psyched to watch something with my boys, that with a simple, 30 second BING search, is revealed to be total bunk. Another huge sigh, for truth, and America. And outrage that this will be shown in every elementary school as Gospel truth.
