So then the point is, it is a rulebook, a manual, a guide, NOT a fable or an allegory. There was an awful lot added to it by those who handed it down by word of mouth that should not be there. There are constellations named in Job that were purely Greek, as was Lucifer later on.
Too much of the Hellenistic influence on the translations to be read without some discernment. if you read it purely, without the additions, it is stark and genuinely exceptional what you find there. It is the entirety of man’s history from his beginning journey on the way to becoming a reasoning human, AND what you need to know when the day of reckoning comes. It’s very specific.
