It is so sad to see us at each others throats while the Liberals take over our country...
Religion and politics are two separate topics is my opinion... for the most part what religion a person is is dictated by when and where they were born, and what their parents believe...
One can be a Christian who is pro-big government liberal and there are many small-government freedom-loving atheists and agnostics... and we need all the small government freedom lovers we can find to fight these bastards...
‘Religion and politics are two separate topics is my opinion”
Spirited: After more than fifty years of calculated propaganda and misdirection on the part of humanists (i.e., secularists, positivists, progressives, et al) large numbers of Americans accept the false notion that religion and politics are separate topics when in fact they are of a piece.
Politics speak to how—for its’ betterment—a society ought to organise itself, defend itself, spend its money, use its resources, ally itself with, etc. In this light it can be seen that “politics” and “law” are really about “oughts,” or morality.
In his book, “Idols For Destruction: The Conflict of Christian Faith and American Culture,” Herbert Schlossberg, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, writes that from antiquity “moral law” has been received by men from gods and then later on from the true, living God.
All law, whether eternally unchanging transcendent Moral Law or its’ temporal version, Nature’s Law comes from God, not man. America’s Rule of Law is a temporal version of transcendent eternally unchanging Moral Law.
Speeding is illegal precisely because, “Thou shalt not kill...”
Though erroneously called “politics” global warming/cooling/change, population control and open border schemes are twisted, inverted moral law as are political correctness, speech codes, special rights, redistribution of wealth schemes, and hate crime laws.
