Shall I call you a Waaaambulance? I'll use it any way I wish. Your interpretation is your own problem . The post was directed to some AGers and others. It wasn't directed at you.
Take your RC catechism and stuff it. I'll take sola scriptura any day other than the warnings of a bunch of self-proclaimed deniars! If you'd bother to search the Word, you'd find your "church" teaches against the very Word it proclaims. This is not an education thread. It is an opinion commentary started by the owner. Take your RC stuff and pat yourselves in a circle on their daily entreaties...
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. YMMV!
Good thing you're not describing the Catholic Church.
If that is indicative of your brand of Christianity (and I'm sure it isn't) then I am even happier that I am a Catholic.
Now maybe you can lead us in a chorus of "Up the long ladder and down the short rope, Cheers to King Billy and f*ck the Pope".
Then you are rejecting the continuing role of the Holy Spirit in God's plan for mankind. The inability to recognize the Holy Spirit in action is a common failing of churches without the blessing of Apostolic Succession. Where you see men, we see the actions of the Holy Spirit working through them in exactly the same manner It did when It brought them together to publish the Bible, from whence you claim sola.
This is very confusing or enlightening I was told once baptized in one church be it Protestant or Catholic the baptism was recognized and accepted and no need of being baptized again?
I was told it was one big love fest!
