So very true. The fact that the Catholic Church learned from mistakes made centuries ago, and has recognized that science is the study of God’s creation rather than something to be seen as in opposition to the truth - this is what led me to Christianity. I was raised in the Bible Belt surrounded by protestants and until I read the works of the great thinkers of the Church, all I knew of Christianity was sola scriptura and the pushing of ignorance. The fact is that pushing ignorance is contrary to Christianity.

And kudos to you for maintaining your charity in the face of these attacks on our faith. You are a better person than I, to be sure.

Will you also follow the ‘free thinkers’, the ‘great thinkers’ when it is posited that Jesus couldn’t rise again? I mean He was dead. DEAD. Three days. Brain dead, rigored, probably well into decay, wouldn’t you think? I mean, science says so, it explains it so easily. Couldn’t happen. Maybe his bones are in the Vatican? Science says they should be, coould be, would be, cuz dead peopple don’t return to life. Do they?
