It was important that Jesus had no Earthly father... sin passed from father to son... thus if Jesus had an earthly father, he would be known to have sin.

How about those who teach that God (who has a body of flesh and bones) fathered Jesus in a LITERAL way, the same way our fathers fathered us (i.e. God had sex with Mary)?
