What's that supposed to mean?
And if you think its OK, then please remember Genesis and having dominion. The creation pseudoscience subverts science (which is the means of gaining dominion), and thus directly contradicts Gods intent.
Is there no end to which people will twist Scripture to support science?
That is not what is meant by dominion. Man had dominion over creation because it was given to him by God. God never specified that science was the means for *gaining* dominion. It was already mans by God's decree.
So, you're saying that people who don't do it your way (using science) are working against God and His intent?
Explain to me, please, why evolutionists complain to Christians and creationists that they don't have a monopoly on Bible interpretation, and then proceed to act as if they do?
[metmom] "What's that supposed to mean?"
It means that these mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology are matching parts of a bigger picture. Understanding this picture allows us to develop technology and rationally invent therapeutic agents. Understanding this picture, however, has an undesirable (to some) side effect - it leads to conclusions incompatible with beliefs such as Young Earth Creationism.
"It was [the dominion] already mans by God's decree."
Sure, and no earlier than 100 years ago people used to die of trivial pneumonia, childbirth infections or infected wounds. In addition to God's decree, we need practical MEANS to gain the dominion, and these means were developed together with modern science. Again, evolutionary biology came as matching and necessary part of the package.
