By BOM standards, I can stand right in the middle of Jerusalem, but until I get a case of heart burn I am not really in the holy land.

Very accurate assessment.

"The truth is that over one billion people have died in the past century as a direct result of Darwinist eugenics."

Where did you get the number of deaths from? I have see the 1 billion number repeated many times here on FR, but could never validate it. In fact it is more than 5X the total number of deaths from all of the Wars, Massacres and Atrocities of the Twentieth Century combined.

How would you know this was only a 1/3 of the Book which 2/3 is yet to come!:)

As far as doctrine as in each dispensation they are given through Revelation line upon line, precept upon precept here a little there a litte.

Milk before meat I know you don’t understand that but the scriptures also teaches it!

pathetic

LOL!

Well, my many verbal provocations would have the one aim of getting him to swing on me - at which point ALL bets would be off...I’d just keep punching until...it became pointless. Then I would offer one wickedly hard kick in his groin just to emphasize the lesson.

That would certainly prove you to be the better Christian.

“The best way for a Lurker to know the Truth is to read the Book of Mormon and the let the Lord bear witness to them if it is true or not!”

DISCLAIMERS:

1. The best way to know the truth is to read the BIBLE,
which contradicts the book of mormonites

2. God tells us to reject false doctrines, like mormonism,
so no prayer is necessary. That is a mormonism trick to get people off the ground of truth and onto the ground of subjective experience

3. The “lord” Restornu is flacking here is not the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible. In fact, the Bible has strong admonitions against seeking familiar spirits.

familiar spirits.

I still get a kick out a LDS missionary who asks if I felt a “familiar spirit” when I tell them, “Yes, I have read the BoM”. LOL.

They have no idea that a “familiar spirit” is a BAD thing.

LOL!

Petty effort at a sarcastic riposte duly noticed

Especially since Joey was not a Christian of ANY sort...

And since I, as a Christian, am not called to suffer false prophets, false teachers, purveyors of polygamy, polyandry and paedophilia, etc...I would have been well within my rights in such a hypothetical situation.

The best thing Joey did in his sorry life was pull out his pistol and fire it in the Carthage jail and give someone the right and necessary reason to kill him.

By that time he had been confronted on multiple occasions and given the opportunity to repent of his foul words and deeds...he was beyond repentance, he life was weighed and found wanting.

“You cannot lump all forms of eugenic thought into a single bag and hang that bag around the neck of Darwin. Darwin did not invent Natural Selection or attempt to apply its principles in an unnatural means to alter the composition of the human race.”
___________________________________________________________

True, Darwin did not invent natural (or man-made) selection. However, he did expect the “lesser races” and the “greater apes” to be soon “eliminated, leaving an even greater gap between man and his nearest relations than there is today.”

Further, Darwinist does not mean only of Darwin himself, but also his followers, who were not mere spectators, but, as noted, active agitators in ‘elimination.’ This is the ugly and inconvenient truth of Progressivism: national socialism (Nazis), international socialism (Communists), and democratic socialism (Progressives) are all the same people with different accents.

‘Defending Darwin from Luddite Fundamentalists’ is a straw man argument: what disturbs most people is not the science of genetics, which is hardly arguable, but the use of evolution to ‘disprove’ religious authority. This same authority, I should not have to tell you, is the basis of Natural Law.

As Christians we are called to be better than the Joseph Smiths of the world.

"Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either." - Luke 6:29

Joseph Smith is dead and has long since been judged by God. Those that have follow his teachings are not necessarily bad, just wrong.

Some of don't see evolution disproving religious authority and some religious authority doesn't see that either.

There have been AT LEAST ONE BILLION abortion deaths in the last century. All of these are linked to Darwinist eugenics.
