Who are these mythical "independents" who make or break a political election?
Plus, more on Mencken, and the two most competitive appeals to human nature.
And, if I have to, Czarbage of the week, Kevin Jennings.
Let's chat! Call-in number: (347) 327-9710
Listen live here.

Hey - independents are the increasing number who feel abandoned as both parties abandon the middle and seek favor with special interests.
The Democrats with interests who want the government to do everything for them and Republicans who want the government to do everything for Wall Street.
PAC men rule. They have more ‘free speech’ to spend.
It would be great to get Steyn on the show.
I know both of your senses of humor would work well together.
Steyn would love the term “Czarbage” LoL!
Christmas show next week. Last Unspun of the year. Ho Ho Ho.
But enough about Tiger Woods...
=)
Yes that was me.
Not a very good radio debut. LoL
You carry a show very well all by yourself, and thats admirable in a radio host.
I know of a gal on WBCQ that is a riot when she has an engaging guest. she lights up.
But let the phone lines go dead and you can feel the sweat LoL.
and Republicans who want the government to do everything for Wall Street get out of the way.
PAC men rule. They have more free speech to spend.
Pacs raise money in order to 'speak' for others with one voice. Imagine representatives who refuse to 'listen' to those who want government to exercise power beyond it's constitutional bounds. A lot of money is about to fall on deaf ears.
So-called 'independents' had better be paying attention because there is a movement about to undertake the huge task of tossing RINO baggage overboard and all things 'unnecessary' while taking over the helm and hopefully, stearing us away from the iceberg that lies dead-ahead.
Captain Tan (or Milk Chocolate Messiah, as I call him) has every intention of placing the bow dead-center on the berg such that there will be no survivors.
I'm beginning to wonder if we haven't already elected the 12th Imam to the highest office in the land- given his anti-western, anti-capitalist, agenda. Over the next few years, we'll see things more clearly and, myself and others will be exonerated for peeing in the well.
Yes that is what it is. Those that contribute the money speak the loudest and get heard. As long as money is considered speech, a conservative will never be nominated again. They can't raise enough 'free speech'. That should be obvious with recent nominees.
Only voting citizens should be allowed to contribute. That excludes associations, unions and corporations because they can't vote.
