I found "Million Dollar Baby" boring and uninteresting, this sounds like it is up for the same awards.

Wasn’t the “necklace” the invention of Mandela?

Michael Medved gave INVICTUS a good review...although he is not too familiar with rugby...

I am willing to watch INVICTUS eventually...Not this weekend though...

I do like films of Eastwood and Morgan...Damon...I think he is a talented guy...But, I just find his political activities annoying...Late Paul Newman was a liberal...I didn’t find him to be obnoxious like Penn and Damon...

MILLION DOLLAR BABY is not one of my favorite Eastwood films...
My favorite Eastwood films:
Dirty Harry series
HEARTBREAK RIDGE
IN THE LINE OF FIRE

*Mandela keeps ignoring business meetings to be updated on Rugby. Enitre nation is depending on him to set things right and he’s ignoring people who bring jobs in favor of sports.

*I suppose he sounded like Mandela, but I kept wanting to reach into the screen and strangle Morgan Freeman while screaming at him to speak normally.

*During an ‘important’ scene the rugby team goes to the prison where Mandela was kept and had to put up with hearing choppy poetry.

*The main player telling Mandela “thank you for what you have done for the country” as if Mandela ahd been in office longer than a couple of months. Flashbacks to Zero (Obama).

*Funnily, at the end, there was no paragraph in subtitles describing how Mandela brought greatness to South Africa, like there usually are in films like this.
