I think that Mark Sanford is menatally ill and that Jenny Sanford had lived with her husband in that mental state for so long that she had gotten used to it. The affair highlighted Mark’s instability, but it took her more than a year to give up. I have to give her credit for hanging in there and trying to work through it.
The timing suggest she waiting for the impeachment hearing to be over. A generous gesture to a whoring husband.
