Your reasoning is why it is essential for groups like the Oath Keepers.

There’s no way a group of citizens could resist a tyranical leader of the USA IF he had the full might of the military behind him.

I’m thinking, from the looks of things, that he wouldn’t.

Start local. Can you and some of your like-minded neighbors take over your local GOP and township board? Can one of you get elected sheriff? Sheriffs that understand the constitution of their state and the US constitution are probably going to be very important.

When the mandates come down, it might be easier as a unit of government or sheriff to say “not in this county/township”.

"Your reasoning is why it is essential for groups like the Oath Keepers."

You're correct; however, when a man's family is threatened I seriously don't expect an oath will count for much Mr. B. Not saying it won't, just saying the kind of crap that'll come down on dissenters will shake civilized peoples to their very foundation. The buildup to Hitler's Germany really is the very best study of how ordinary people will react once the constriction begins.

"There’s no way a group of citizens could resist a tyranical leader of the USA IF he had the full might of the military behind him."

No, they couldn't.
And trust me IF zerO pulled the kind of stunt we suggest is a possibility? Don't you think his elites, call'em Blackshirts, will have names & addresses with a plan for all involved to be implemented on a moment's notice? I do, hell's bells I anticipate it.
Think Night of the Hummingbird; since, what I imagine happening c/wouldn't be all that different.

"I’m thinking, from the looks of things, that he wouldn’t."

You mean you hope.
Soldiers --any soldiers-- will do & have done whatever they're told so long as they're convinced their action(s) are correct, even patriotic. Mr. B? Think the liars not capable of ever more insidious deceit? LOL

This very subject came up between me & a local fuzz.
Fuzz told me he'd not act against common citizens on the orders of zerO & Co.
I was more than surprised he'd say [that] to me, more like floored.

2010, my friend.

In any conversation with LEOs or military,
you should ask them if they are aware of the Oath Keepers,

and make sure they have the info necessary to find out more.

Did the OK’s come up in your convo with the “local fuzz”?

Totally agree, my friend.
There's no way you could know this, but, Landru lives in a very conservative county in WI.
We're already as to the right as one can get before falling off the edge of the world, Sheriff included. LOL
But then there're the armies of Milwaukee, Madison etc to contend with before the real guys in green make the scene, too.
Just saying.

"When the mandates come down, it might be easier as a unit of government or sheriff to say 'not in this county/township'."

While I'm counting on it, I'm also preparing for full & total resistance. Meaning me & like minded peoples will probably be snuffed within the first day or two of any such mandate(s) issuance.
Won't be a lot anyone will be in a position to do about the matter either, except die.

Not a bad idea, in hindsight.

"Did the OK’s come up in your convo with the 'local fuzz'?"

Nope; hence, my surprise otherwise I'd have been braced.

But I want to share with you something I've really noticed of late, too. Possibly melds into this very discussion.

Of all the cops I've met over the past few years?
None have been prior military. None.
They've been the product of 2 or 4 year CJ/LE programs offered in our public schools.
I come from a time when 4 of every 5 cops were prior military and you're speaking with a 95B20 so I've some insight into these things.

Make of it what you will; however, I wonder how civilians regard oaths --of any kind-- as opposed to those of us who began our service with an oath?
