I've yet to waste my first eight bucks on a movie this year.

I pay only one dollar to watch a movie some 3 to 6 months after it's been shown at the theater. That's what it costs to rent a movie from Redbox. I've even cut the cost of my cable movie viewing by removing the movie channels from my bill. I can watch 10 - 20 recent releases per month for $10-20. Blockbuster is going broke because I don't visit them anymore.
