Really? The poster for that movie creeped me out, I thought the animals looked like something from the taxidermist.

Well, a minor warning is that The Fantastic Mr. Fox steals and kills chickens. As he says, he’s a fox. He can’t help it. But the factory farmers are so mean and nasty, who would mind? Anyway, there were a lot of little kids there, including my two and four year old grandsons, and no one seemed to be freaked out.

It’s actually about the animal community getting together when they are cornered, about family relationships, about how their son learns to get along with his much brighter cousin who comes to stay with them, and so on. The husband and wife have issues (she doesn’t want him risking his life stealing chickens), but they work all these problems out in the end.
