I remember a Texas plate HMFIC2. Most Army veterans will quickly translate this (could have a racial slant) but why Number 2?

I think it means he is #2, probably after his wife.

Long ago, at a job in high school, we were laughing about someone being HMFIC, and a black guy chimed in and said that the HMFIC's boss was the HNCIC.
