Bruce Springsteen posted a statement on his Web site urging support of the gay marriage bill that's up for a vote in New Jersey's Senate on Thursday.
Springsteen wrote that he's long believed in and has "always spoken out for the rights of same-sex couples."
A state Senate committee approved the bill by one vote on Monday.
Democrats concede the measure may fall short of the 21 votes needed to pass the Senate.

I wonder how “the boss” like his new governor.
I knew he was a fag!
Maybe Springsteen’s next big hit will be called “Bent Over In The USA”...
Which includes telling his draft board he was a homo so he could dodge military service.
>I knew he was a fag!
“Tunnel of love” was about homo fisting.
He turned down an invite to play at his inauguration. Pretty much says it all.
His music sucks too.
Bruce isn’t doing too well in the normal marriage department. Yeah, keep yer thoughts to yourself, Bruce.
Yep... he smokes sausage alright.
I liked “some” of his music when I was about 13 years old. He is a textbook example of self important entertainers who think they are politically astute.
Well Bruce, since you don’t mind two men having anal sex, why don’t you go a step further and support my idea? That is...go f%$k yourself and let society alone.
Apologies in advance to the moderator.
Go away, dipstick.
Not you, george76 ;-)

I lost all respect for him about the time of his famous "look" picture at his currect wife when he was married to the gal from Oregon - it told a thousand words (and the words "my wife" weren't among them).
Well - the good news is, this will clear a lot of space on my iPod.
Yeah, the same douche who hauls any Republican who dares use “Born in the U.S.A.” at a campaign event into court. Did it to Bob Dole and others, and never does so with Dems.
But with this latest issue, guess Bruce like’s “Dancing in the Dark,” hey, Boss??
Why on EARTH would the AP think it’s so important to report what Bruce Springsteen thinks about anything? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY?
