I agree although for Tiger it will be a little tougher. It was OJ’s “dream team” that played the race card, and he had nothing to lose. On the other hand, Tiger's appeal has been the ambiguity of his race. He could be seen as black when it was advantageous, but he was so non threatening that he could virtually “pass” as white. If he tries the race card, it pretty well locks him into one definition.
