Will Massachusetts wake up and give the Republican a chance to try to defeat totalitarianism in the Senate? Nah, it’s Massachusetts.

Nah, its Massachusetts. And that gets me royally p!$$3d off.
Scott brown is the kind of person we need in the US Senate. But that hag, Coakley (who is a truly detestable human being) will win in January because she has a lot more money to campaign with and will get the votes of the all hard line, old time Liberal a-holes who vote Dem no matter who the candidate is. This shite hole state is truly a sewer. I wish I could move to Texas.

Call me crazy if you wish, but I have a bit of hope that there could be an upset. Think of the value nationwide if a Republican won the Lion Liberal's seat...how would Obama feign a lack of concern then? How would Harry Reid keep his people in line? How would Chris Matthews get through reporting the story without extra-strength Depends?
In our favor: There is a lot of dislike for Martha Croakley even among democrats, our state has rising unemployment, rising foreclosures, a newly raised sales tax, a widening deficit and no cuts to the golden gravy train that give a nice ride to thousands of state employees and welfare recipients. And they are mulling over a 50 cent per gallon gas tax...
Add to that the date of the special election (the middle of January) and the conditions could be right for a big surprise...
37% of the electorate here voted for Bush in 2004. A sufficiently angered populace enduring the conditions I outlined above could provide another 14%.

You are so right about that. Massachusetts is a lunatic asylum when it comes to politics. It might be that there are so many colleges located in that state. You have naive college students, insane liberal professors and administrators and the like. There is also a blue collar (yes there are a few left) liberal constituency in Massachusetts.
The state is filled to the brim with educated idiots.
