All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I think the first picture is taken with slow exposure.
I do a lot of long exposure photography and that was exactly what I thought.
Makes me wonder how that black hole experiment is working out in Switzerland.
It was visible in half the country so it’s unlikely that it was projected from the ground.

I would guess another Russian missile launch, but the Russians deny it. And so do the rocket stations in Kiruna (Sweden) and Andøya (Norway). Another Baluva test gone wrong I would think. But it would be nice if our new overlord have arrived...

Apparently there has been picked up some radio chatter from the Russian coast guard about a launch in the Archangelsk area.
How could a projection be visible from Trondheim to Alta. It must be really high up in the atmosphere.
If so, the university kids have Project bluebeam beat :-P
