I wasn't living in Harlem in the 1920's but I was living in Chicago in the 50's and remember all too well that whites didn't take no crap from blacks, like they do today. I'm sure the same held true in 1920 New York.

Whites leave blacks to their own devices and all hell always break loose, Detroit, East St. Louis, Gary, Ind etc etc. As for hurling invectives at another Freeper, I have no idea what you're talking about. And AGAIN there's nothing inappropriate for me bringing up the idea of an inherent tribal instinct that may be part of the reason for out of control spiraling violence among blacks.

If that's offends you, well tell that to all the 32 or so whites in Denver that got the crap beat out of them by packs of blacks for no reason.

You keep mentioning tribal instincts. Let's just, for the sake of argument that blacks (putting aside the large amount of genetic variance among blacks) have tribal instincts to violence?

How many white tribes have tribal instincts of violence. I'm Celtic, and not the Michael Flatley type. My family tree isn't made up of choirboys. It's closer to Michael Collins or Boondock Saints.

Today, outside of maybe parts of Boston, you don't see that stuff anymore with the white street gangs (outside organized crime). It's culture. Not genetics. I've met several blacks who wern't ghetto. I've met several blacks from Africa who aren't ghetto and had the work ethic that comes with people who come from poverty and don't want to go back.

Two problems.

1. Too many whites, even Irish, Scots, and Italians, are yuppified and lost their warrior side. Thank suburbia for that.

2. The ghetto mentality is enabled and even cool because its seen as tough.
