I thought ever’thing was gonna change for the better now that Obama was president.
Honestly how could you accomplish anything in that cesspool with that type of “parental” and community support for education and discipline. The lib answer would be to keep throwing money at the problem but you can’t make a chicken dinner out of chicken droppings.
Fixing the problem in Detroit’s schools would have to go well beyond fixing the schools. A lot of success starts at home so you’d have to figure out ways to get parents involved in a positive fashion and thats tough.
And they’ll probably get it if they apply for Obama’s Department of Education grant that most states are clamoring for. Billions and billions of dollars going to the public schools. Billions and billion of dollars being pissed away by school officials or stolen by corrupt politicians. Wow! Free Money!
