Even if the Senate bill makes it out, it will be harder to reconcile with the House bill and Stupak’s amendment.

When was the last time a bill that passed both houses and went into conference failed to become law, for a reason other than a veto?

I believe that if it passes the senate, it will have too much momentum to be stopped.

I agree with that. We will still likely have the pro-life movement with us. On to the states for nullification! So Reid wants an expansion of Medicare and MEDICAID. Are you watching Texas? I can’t imagine Texas or other red states (Nevada) accepting a Medicaid expansion. They will have to enact or raise state income taxes.
