Thanks in advance for whatever you find. “He” is the worst kind of offender. Looking at the ribbons and badges “he” has on, it’s clear that someone of “his” years could NEVER have been all those places, done all that, unless “he” had been in over THIRTY!!! AND there was what appeared to be an enlisted Good Conduct medal. So Dufus was also pretending to be a Mustang. And then, it’s a fag on top of it all... I wish I had been the one to find “him” out. I guaran-damn-TEE you, “he’d” have been flat-out running his ass off to get to the cops and get put in a nice, safe jail cell!

Submarine Warfare Pin. Dolphin fish resting their heads on the bow planes of a WWII era submarine. I’m sure they are a lot easier (and less painful) to earn now that hazing has been removed as a motivational technique. You used to get your dolphins tacked on by your shipmates when you earned them. I had a buddy who was a little too mouthy and the day he got his dolphins he was a bruise from his upper arm to his sternum.
This is the kind of logic that is justifying hate-crime legislation (adding thought-crime as an aggravating factor in ordinary crimes) and to people being prosecuted by various governments for criticising Islam or Homosexuality....
Many still think of Viet Nam veterans as "Burned-Out/Shell-Shocked Freaks," more fit to be pitied than admired. Primarily, this belief was caused by war protesters wearing dirty fatigues claiming to have been damaged by an "illegal and immoral war."
Generations grew up believing these claims. When they were finally examined, the primary "professional protesters" were exposed as liars and frauds. Usually, those who actually served rarely served outside of the CONUS and never served in combat.
More recently, fake "war-heroes" waived counterfeit "bloody shirts" in vulgar attempts to gain credibility for anti-military and anti-American political platforms. some, like Jesse MacBeth were prosecuted, but only because they committed fraud by claiming VA benefits. However, the damage caused to our nation's armed forces cannot be healed. Al Quaeda used his speeches as recruiting tools.
This is a crime con artists must fear commiting, not for the sake of special privilege for America's Soldier, but for the sake of America's security.
In a free society, you do not silence morons by throwing them in jail, you expose them for what they are and destroy their credibility....
What if someone claims to be a police officer and speaks at political rallies, using their false claims to promote political actions harmful to real officers of the law?
Fraud is fraud; it is what it is.
Read “Stolen Valor.” If you still don't agree, you might at least understand the perspective of America's armed forces.
Thanks for the link. It looks like WHERE he wore it was up here in the Bay Area, just down I-680 from me. He should be glad it wasn’t me who found him out!
